Betrayed

BETRAYED

You betrayed me,
I couldn't see.
I trusted you,
and what did you do?

To me you had lied,
I Believed YOU when you cried.
I was betrayed,
Yet still I stayed.

I was believing,
Through all of your decieving.
For you the rules I would bend,
Because I was your friend.

Through thick and thin, though right or wrong, I will always be your friend. Betrayal puts crack on the glass. I commend you for being a loyal friend. I enjoy the poem and the message.

Thank you. This is one that I wrote in 9th grade. Little did I know at the time-- this is one that continues throughout our lives. We try to trust that everyone has good intentions, but all too often find that the werent so good.

A poem begins as a lump in the throat, a sense of wrong, a homesickness, a lovesickness. It finds the thought and the thought finds the words.

Robert Frost (1875-1963) American Poet.
