Attitude of Prayer
All wishes weave your mind in webs of want.
By chance of luck they seem to grow or die.
By fate or thread of faith as soft as sky
As thin as hope, you stretch to bind, enchant
as will becomes idea, a seed you plant.
The lace a spider spins to specify
a thirsty hunger. craved, you sanctify
with prayer, a spell with faith that you can grant.
To bear the cross of age: decrepitude
And see, involves awareness, focused stance.
To know the question, ask the Source. Believe.
The coping method is an attitude.
Accept, adapt, adjust to circumstance.
Depend upon a loving God. Receive.
Receive.
