    Any Day Now

So you say in your eyes I'm number one.
That this demon is just here to show you some fun.
And I should believe you when you say
That you're desperately trying to get away.

I hear people saying how much I look like you
But our insides are wired so different...if they only knew.
There's one thing I know for certain, the one thing I know is true
Never in my life will I ever be like you.

It's crazy - I'm the youngest, yet the one you look up to.
When did you become so small that I have to carry you?
It hurts my heart to have to say I can't carry you any longer.
I guess it's really true, what doesn't kill us makes us stonger.

One day you'll wake up and come out a better person.
You'll see you didn't have to spend your entire life searching.
The love you've been looking for has been here all along,
So when you're ready to be my sister, I'd love to have you home.

Great poem... You write with alot of passion... That's such a strong quality...

A poem begins as a lump in the throat, a sense of wrong, a homesickness, a lovesickness. It finds the thought and the thought finds the words.

    Robert Frost (1875-1963) American Poet.
