Alone
Alone she sits....Alone she waits....
Alone she hopes and prays...
To be rescued....
But no savior comes to her rescue...
Alone she is...
Alone forever...
Alone in a dungeon of loneliness...
Forever alone...
Alone
Alone she sits....If I feel physically as if the top of my head were taken off, I know that is poetry.
Emily Dickinson (1830-1886) American poet.
