    Alone
           I stand alone
    Wading through the river of lost souls.
    Confused and lonely with no place to go.
    Feeling that I am neither here or there,
    The pain finally sets in and is felt everywhere.
    Tears form deep within my eyes and
    Never quite make it to the hardened surface
           I stand alone
    Consumed by all the hate and greed.
           I stand for nothing 
          alone.

    I wish you had more poems. Reading your poems has been a delight. You definetly have a way of words, as though we are seeing it not just reading it, which is the marks of a great writer. Keep writing. Can't wait to read some more of your poems!!

    Poetry is either something that lives like fire inside you or else it is nothing, an empty formalized bore around which pedants can endlessly drone their notes and explanations.
