ALL WE ASK FOR

ALL WE ASK FOR

THERE comes a time
when people must be tough
to row on
the rough
water
no matter
what death
winds blow;
to oncemore
ride with pride
to any nation
worth mention

Arise, arise
my people
and feel equal!

what is left for us
to mend
and make
Now,
all we ask for
is patriotism
and symbolism!

The past cannot return

Let's pledge
to our land
that our spirits
are high.

Very talented.

A poem begins as a lump in the throat, a sense of wrong, a homesickness, a lovesickness. It finds the thought and the thought finds the words.

Robert Frost (1875-1963) American Poet.
