Alive & Alone

Life is so hard and unfair.
Sometimes I wonder should life be so bare?
Nothing to do and no where to go...
My life is moving so very slow.

Until one day when I find the one.
Who makes me be just who I am.
I will walk this infinite road.
By myself, I feel so alone.

Even when I stand in a crowd...
I feel so sheltered I want to scream out loud.
Could anyone hear me if I did?
I feel just like an abandoned kid.
Noone to help me find my way.
And I guess forever it is the way I'll stay.

Noone can help me or so it seems.
I wish I could forever live in my dreams.
My dreams are so real, I want to stay asleep.
But since that's impossible, I will forever weep.

A poem begins as a lump in the throat, a sense of wrong, a homesickness, a lovesickness. It finds the thought and the thought finds the words.

Robert Frost (1875-1963) American Poet.
