A love story
This whole time it's always been,
You.
And I was creating an illusion in the others,
That was almost the truth.
But who would of knew,
Not letting the torch die,
Eventually,
You would see your way through.
Keeping a whisper in the atomsphere,
Would somehow affect the future.
None of the rest would do.
Broken hearts and salted teardrops along heavy footsteps,
Should be my proof.
A teardrop just fell from the memory.
Where have I been?
I've been waiting for the chance to finally have what I have always wanted.
The dream.
Look into my soul.
See what I mean.
See this beautiful reality.
Come and rescue me.
I believe,
O God I believe.
And that's deep.
That we could be.
A love story.
A story told to generations soon to come.
I'm here.
I'm done.
There was always a blessing in our union.
But we delayed.
I strayed.
Give me the oppurtunity
And I promise I'll repay.
Every single second of every single day,
That my presence wasn't around.
Every single broken promise and bitter tear,
The circles you were forced to walk,
The oceans were we almost drowned.
And I'm so sorry.
That,
In the beginning,
I didn't listen to my heart.
By the way,
You were right.
