    A Life.

I take it all in,gorging it down,
    The pealsures i treasure,
giving in to all the pressure,
    without thought ,without measure.

    Without remose i trample,
not caring as they cry out,
    then crumple.

    Falsehooh is truths victor,
In decite lies my joy and succor,
    Friends have i not,
    for brothers i care nought.

    Walk in my den,
a ready thief you'd find there.
    I live to take,
    any talk of giving,
    i hate.

I scorn the lowly,i disown them wholely.

In strong rooms i stow my wealth,
with it i can buy perfect health.

    The years drif by,
Now it's time to say goodbye,
    I sit alone,
no one here to hold my hands,
    as i go home.

    Why dont i feel happy?
Of what am i still searching?
    I think i know,It must be because,
    In all my wealth,
Fufilment i still have not felt.

A poem begins as a lump in the throat, a sense of wrong, a homesickness, a lovesickness. It finds the thought and the thought finds the words.

    Robert Frost (1875-1963) American Poet.
