Poem Commentary

This poem is how I am feeling as of now.I am lost I feel like there is something I want but I do not know where to look for the solution.

A Cry I never Learned

I feel no less than the man afloat
I wonder the ache I hear
As crowds plunder my ears
I see nothing more
I feed on footing tours

You tell me not to
 make noone more than me
I see
But what do I seek
I feel no less than the man afloat
I place my hand on a wounded rope

I see your tears
but where is the fear
I hear I hear
but
What do I hear

A cry I never learned
That lurks and burns
Right through my heart
Feels like I am falling apart

Where do I go
What do I do
Do I run
Do I stay
Do I lie
Here and fade away

A cry I never learned
Now I feel the pain
No answer
No gain
No solution
Just pain

Well it came from a sad place. My Destination is a very uplifting poem so if you like that. Read that one.

Poetry is not an expression of the party line. It's that time of night, lying in bed, thinking what you really think, making the private world public, that's what the poet does.

Allen Ginsberg (1926-1997) U.S. poet.
