19 out of 20 grading scaleI found this interesting. Even in our 10 scaling I have always thought giving a 10 would almost be impossible because nobody is perfect. Everything can be improved upon especially in the arts. |

RE: 19 out of 20 grading scaleI agree. I stopped the "rate this poem" part awhile back for the same reason, people become easily offended by 9's and 8's etc ... |

RE: 19 out of 20 grading scalewell i think that is sad because MootPoint is correct no one is perfect and they will never will be and why cant we all just get along without no fight though this is a site where you can post up your poem and escape reality |

RE: 19 out of 20 grading scaleWhen there was a contest to win there was more of an arguement about getting 10s. Someone here on her profile she stated, "If you are not going to give me a 10 or don't vote at all". |

RE: 19 out of 20 grading scaleThe rates are irrelevant. I just like to see my work recognized. You can't see when people read your poems on this site, only when they comment do you know that they have. It feels great to share and hear what other people think about them, or what kind of thoughts they provoke which varies. It seems people are highly sensitive to rates. |

RE: 19 out of 20 grading scalePersonally I think grading system is fine if enabled. I respect and value the readers rating and especially building comments! If you read mine I would read yours and if you left a comment be it super nice or not, expect the same honest rating and opinion from me. I'm rhyme and may not see what I read, therefore one must forgive me, it's how I read. |

RE: 19 out of 20 grading scaleYes, Slim, but the concept of 20 out of 20 not being obtainable is intriguing for me. |
To have great poets there must be great audiences too.
