This poem is a personal account of growth and maturation versus death the Strategic Air Command of the 1950's. Incidently some of the aircraft of that era are still being flown in many of today's combat ready squadrons. How's that for durability? There doesn't seem to be a lot of differences in the people, their work, or the scope of the reactions to continual technology-based war-engineering.
