Do you think it's funny to be accused of being a crack smoking hooker and to have first class mail sent to your mother telling her about her poor mothering skills and how her child is a criminal and a crack smoking hooker? Would that tickle your funny bone? How about having an inverted love song posted on youtube about you, calling you by first and last and pen name by a deranged lunatic that you have never met. Would you find that entertaining? How about going as far as to calling your attorney about the issue and being laughed off the phone because you are upset about being cyber bullied after surviving being shot 9 times and left for dead. would you get a kick out of that too? With all do respect people, I find none of this insane bullshit funny, entertaining, a kick, a hoot or something to ignore. If we don't stand united against David Neves then devided we surely will fall because there will nothing worth saving. |

RE: I think it's funny that you let Neves get under your skin.I have been a member almost from the very begining of this site, I have seen it weather many a problem, always to survive, the poets here are the best in the world, with a few exceptions, We are here for one purpose, We love to write, we love to share and we love the comments that tell us we are doing a great job/or not, with help only a message away, we can all improve and learn, I count myself fortunate to have such great friends on here . such as dah, jaded, tender, maddie, Word,etc.....For those who left, you will be missed, Some may comeback we hope, For all you that are new welcome, please stay, this is a dispute that should never have had happen, and will not involve you, only the innocent have been hurt, the needs of the many out weigh the stupidity of the few ,or the ONE. that being said, please play nice!!!, As a young man I met a elderly man and his wife, they talked about the old country they came from, they told me of their childhood, and one of their teachers who left a great impression on them. he taught them Math, History and phys. Ed. this teacher abhored War , He respected life, and it saddened him what was happening in his world., this was a man of honor, who would not falsely accuse anyone or blaspheme anyone, Yet because he was a very intelligent man, with a great mind, He had no choice but to help in matters he had no control over, the elderly couple knew this man to be forthright, they showed me pictures of them when they were young adults standing next to their teacher ROMMEL some times History repeats itself/ some times its maligned, So as my last thought here, If you are going to be Great, Be Great, Don't hide behind Greatness and pretend !!!!! You must still be in High School, where all of the "cool" kids hang around and make fun of the "dorks" like me. If you had any sense of fairness, you would have addressed my objections and would have seen what assholes your "friends" really are; but I can see that it is REALLY NOT ABOUT THE POETRY WITH YOU, but about your precious "community" ie. little clique of liars! I'll just say this; IF YOU BELIEVE LIARS, THEN YOU MUST BE ONE, TOO! If you can judge me like this, without any investigation or knowledge, then you are not able to think on the level that higher level writing requires.
