Have you Noticed When You Read Poetry

time goes slower, and you are taken to poets hearts, vast lanscapes, and much, much more, and when you are done, you are sorta lost, and thinking what am I going to do now, and intuition says, back to responsiblities.

Just curious if time slows down for you, and if so isn't poetry a blessing?

I never got real into much philosophy. When I was a kid I used to walk around with a copy of Kant's Critique of Judgment. Found it at a used bookstore. Used whatever college kid's footnotes I could find to fill in the gaps I didn't get. Even still a lot of it escaped me at the time...but one part that really stuck is this:

"Time is a human intellectual construct. A categorical imperative used to interpret stimuli in a rational manner.Time is not real. It is the greatest illusion. One that I've abandoned after sufficient thought".

Yeah, I spent a whole weekend reading poetry, one afternoon. And one weekend, I lost a month. Good thing I'm an immortal.
