The School Library

I am establishing this thread in hopes that anyone will feel free to come here and discuss poetry books they are reading. If you want to discuss your all-time favorite poetry book, do it here.
If you want to talk about your current work, go right ahead. If you would like to announce the validation of a new submission, post the link here so that we can readily find it, before it's been buried. This is for you - to talk about poetry in a school fashion. My wish is that everyone will feel free to come to the Library.
But please do not QUOTE!!

The nice thing about this library is that I envision it in a home. You know the kind - panelled walls, books on every shelf, comfortable chairs and sofas, maybe a bar in the corner. Come in and stay a while.
A comfortable place designed for you..

If you also know of any educational videos that are poetry based, please post them here as well.(Please keep videos in one postings, meaning edit it to and a second and so forth.)

Thank You, your OP School Director

RE: The School Library

Okay - I haven't been reading much poetry lately - but here's something I wrote over a year ago that I didn't originally post here.

a bit of introspection if I'm real honest about it. smile

PS: Hi WS!

Poetry is not an expression of the party line. It's that time of night, lying in bed, thinking what you really think, making the private world public, that's what the poet does.

Allen Ginsberg (1926-1997) U.S. poet.
