Who the heck is the national poet laureate?

Something to aspire to.
She doesn't use the word "I" in her poetry.

I think the current poet laureate is Kay Ryan. My favorite past poet laureate is Ted Kooser. If you have never read his work look him up he is good!! ~ Sara

I agree with you Ted Kooser is a great read for sure. I like Billy Collins as well. His moth on the bell about a haiku poem is fantastic.
