Nothing sloppy about it. Needs a tiny bit of repairs. Refer to my hints, in your PM. Kudos. $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ Last edited by cousinsoren 04-29-2010 at 07:43:01 AM |

RE: GATHERIN' MY SLOPThe A&W Root Beer Stand was one of my favorite hangouts in those days... It's hard to beat the combination of root beer & high school girls wearing miniskirts as the curb-hops at the A&W did. |

It's hard to beat the combination of root beer & high school girls wearing miniskirts as the curb-hops at the A&W did. Persimmons weren't sold commercially in Pittsburg, KS in those days. We did have persimmons when they ripened in the early autumn, but not at other times. They grew wild on some man-made hills that were left after the abandonment of a coal strip-mining operation dating back to the early years of the 20th century. They had also been planted with wild cherries that we picked in the summer months, but we usually visited there to swim or fish in the strip-pits. :-) It seems to me that you and I knew and know something about the good things of life. In Jamaica, it was Red Stripe Beer., mangoes, jerked pork and girl watching.. These delights still exist , but not for me.........LOL ( 1Corinthians 13:2) I am now fully grown at age 78, I think and feel..........LOL Last edited by cousinsoren 04-29-2010 at 04:30:41 PM |

My beloved wife of 48 years decided to call it a day. She went back to her Maker, last November. I now have Scotch, instead of Red Stripe beer! My Doctor sez "No more mangoes! Too much sugar! half an orange or half-o--finger of ripe banana!" School girls ,and girls in general ??? I can;t recall. what year I last watched any..........LOL Last edited by cousinsoren 04-30-2010 at 07:48:24 AM |

RE: GATHERIN' MY SLOPOren, you've just gotta learn to use your imagination more as you grow older. While it's true that schoolgirls have long ago lost my personal interest, there is, at this very moment, an "ideal" schoolgirl hiding within each older lady, waiting hopefully to be discovered!! Beware Oren, even if you haven't seen them, I'll almost bet that one or more have seen you!! |

Beware Oren, even if you haven't seen them, I'll almost bet that one or more have seen you!! I have checked this advice out with my wife for accuracy. She just chuckled & said, "yes! yes!". Your wife is a "A Daniel come to judgement! " ( The Merchant of Venice)........Lol. |
