Poem Collection

Hello everyone,

One of our fellow poets here at the site has passed away. Our friend Kage passed away the two nights ago. He was a good poet as well as a good friend to many here at the site. Me and some of our fellow poets are putting a collection of poems together to give to his family, So that his family will know that he will be missed here at originalpoetry, by his fellow poets and friends. If you would like to join in on putting a poem in the collection for Kage's family... Just send me a email here or post it here. A few people have already started writing poems for kage. Along with your poem please tell me if you want your pen name or your real name put in with the collection. After I have gotten the whole collection of poems for his family I will then email it to his close friend that will then give it to his family.

Thanks he was a good man...He most of the time stayed in the chatroom...

Staircase for Kage

He may have flirted with the girls on the site
but he always respected them.
He would go around to say one was hot
but never go beyond that.
He never got into a fight
as far as i know but he was one of those bright gems.
Now, he will be, by others in our community and his family, sought
after, but in my book, he was always be a cool cat.
After hearing about his death last night,
i hope heaven wont have him condemned.

For heaven knows that he had been suffering alot
lately, even with us not knowing but he handled himself the best he could.
I know ill see him around when I die.

Pigeon Man (Dedicated to Lee/Kage)

His lady loves him dear,
yet he makes daily passage to the funeral house,
carrying his crate of gray pigeons,
they neither ask questions nor utter unbridled squawks.
They were trained in the minding of remembrance only,
and make flight at sunset to honors those that lay in honorable sleep.

His lady loved him dearly,
and vowed that he will be remembered,
by the flight of white doves.
On the day that it is she,
that must make pilgrimage to the funeral house.
Peace onto you, she whispers to her fallen friend.
