Is a poem, really a poem, after all...?If I post a new poem, and nobody reads it....is it still a poem ? |
|
Re: Is a poem, really a poem, after all...?Name the poem and I will read it...eventually |
|
Re: Is a poem, really a poem, after all...?You read it, unless you consider yourself a nobody. I think that counts. Now the real question is: if a poem falls in a forest and there is no one around to hear it, while a wood chuck is chucking wood then how many pickled peppers can you eat in a fifteen minute period. Well, Michael, there is no ingognitoism with your pen name. Hey, you got the drift, and added some comical lines. Keep that attitude up to par, Mr. Tierney.................................gogant |

Re: Is a poem, really a poem, after all...?Well, okay...so, if nobody reads my poem, Embittered Embers, will the woods be filled with hollow sounds ? But, if other poets read it, then it will be a poem... |

Re: Is a poem, really a poem, after all...?I read the all too sad, hopeless saga of a poem that you skillfully presented, and my nose is about to fall off for lack of cheer. |

Re: Is a poem, really a poem, after all...?I'll bet even-money that you will run off and construct another of your infamous poems with our last posts. |

Very witty reply Mr. Tierney. And G, you are melodramatic as usual. |
|
Re: Is a poem, really a poem, after all...?Yeah, Caity, I got a kick out of Mr. Tierney's post, and Mr. Ink's too...truly creative. And, yes I can be quite melodramatic when the occasion arises. |

Re: Is a poem, really a poem, after all...?I'm about to...tentatively, though. |

The true philosopher and the true poet are one, and a beauty, which is truth, and a truth, which is beauty, is the aim of both.
