IF YOU BUILD THEY WILL COME...
Hello my fellow poets and friends.

I thought Id write this for our fellowship
in poetry, and reciting means. I really enjoy reading your poetry.
Poetry is all I ever had besides my faith, and here at the web site
is very entertaining and fun. Also very educating, and inspiring.
We know life is short, sometimes sour and sometimes sweet.
I think with positive effort we can build a foundation at the website
for ourselves and future poets. Poetry is a means Im sure for yourself
to heal and motivate your feelings and health. I believe you have your
own personal fans before the website. So I want to encourage you to encourage them to visit the site as well. I would also like to
encourage you to let important people, like journalists, teachers, preachers,
and people with respect for the arts know about the site.
You get the idea...
I also believe you can promote your own web site in many ways.
Email magazines and publishers about your web page.
These are just ideas, so we have a new modern/ stronger
foundation for the art of poetry. So I ask you to get creative.
I wish the best for you in life,
and it is very pleasant
to have you in the present.

Your friend, and fellow poet
John E. WordSlinger

P.S. This would be your web site
http://www.originalpoetry.com/poet/YOURNAME
and your poems link would be
http://www.originalpoetry.com/poet/YOURNAME/poems

I have a column in the forum called READ WITH ME....
on Mondays, like my own talk show lol

I BELIEVE THAT WORDSLINGER IS SPEAKING FOR ALL OP P.O.,E.T.S. Selah.

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
