Candy Bars, Every Poet Has A Favorite;?

My favorite subject -- candy bars and poetry!
LOL.

I like Rollos, Butterfingers,
Hershey's, Whatchamacallits,
Nestle Crunch, Twix,
Reese's Peanut butter cups
(miniature too),
I could go on and on.
How about you?

What is your favorite candy bar??

Anyone creative enough to write a poem using the names of candybars?
I could really use some help!!! Any help would be great, THANKS!

I have thought for a while
about Mars, Mars,
and all those others,
all toothy succulent candy bars,
made of honey, milk and all things good,
makes one smile,
just like one should.

LOL!

Caramel, chocolate,
sugar bomb,
nuts and craisins,
can't go wrong ...

Homemade pasta
is what i like best;
homemade candy
also stands the test!

Holiday fudge,
cooked just right,
stirred and cooled
and wrapped up tight.

English toffee
is also a fave,
covered with nuts -
it's what I crave.

Brittle, I suppose,
could be made into bars ...
but it's better in pieces,
shipped out in jars smile

Springerles and Jingle Bells ...
I must be a country girl ...
homemade is where it's at,
you must give it a whirl!

Nestle's got nothin'
on what Grandma makes.
I'm learning the trade ...
we'll see if it takes smile

Peace to you friends! LOL Sugar Rush Tuesday!

Hows this?

Peanut butter and chocolate,
I love it to pieces.
You just can't go wrong,
With a classic Reeses.

They come and go, these easy sweets,
But none can ever compare to you,
Mr. Hershey, the king of treats,
You are my first love, forever and true.

Candybars are bad for your skin,
Forget about staying thin,
They make you fat,
Some taste like crap,
You might as well eat a rat

(I don't mean to offend anyone, this my opinion only)

LOL! Loved reading everyone's comments and contributions. I couldn't help but laugh at joyful's poem...and wish I didn't have such a sweet tooth! Then I laughed some more as the next post gave her a hug...thinking she must need it if she doesn't like candy!!! That's when I noticed her name....oh how can one be joyful without candy!?

I can't share any poem at the moment about candy. My son's teacher gave each of her students a little bag of various candies on the last day of school with the sweetest little poem about what each one stood for...a way to remember the year. It was so sweet. If I find it, I'll post it (credit to her of course!) My favorites are twix bars, rolos, and sugar daddy's! cheese

Snickers is first on my list
I do enjoy strawberry twists
Reeses Peanut Butter Cups
Delicious flavor they fill me up

Butterfingers are a true delight
Flavor of the chocolate is just right
Zero's are number one in my book
Baby Ruths have me hooked

Candy bars are my worse temptation
I cannot resist their flavorful sensations
My diet is constantly being broken
Every time one of their names is spoken.

Are you kidding? No one thought of.....

One PAYDAY, MR. GOODBAR wanted a BIT-O-HONEY,
so he took Ms. HERSHEY behind the POWERHOUSE
on the corner of FIFTH AVENUE and CLARK
where there he began to feel her MOUNDS
she let out a SNICKER as
he slipped a BUTTERFINGER up her KIT-KAT
which was an ALMOND JOY that definitely made his TOOTSIE ROLL
she grabbed his WHATCHAMACALLIT and ZAGNUTS
which of course caused the MILKY WAY
she screamed "OH HENRY!" you're better than the THREE MUSKETEERS!

At least we can thank our lucky stars that there was no conception
of a Baby Ruth from this icky encounter.

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
