I walk fast and scurry In the deep dark hall Fast as a rabbit I smartly move to a wall Then the heavens quake Fast as a snake Slithering in the darkness To catch it's pray and take I am the roach A simple bug Better then ever A natural slug Quick I go Faster then a snake To hide in the hole That I make LOL.......there ya go!!! Ah-ah-ah! I am impressed by your consistently perfect abab rhyming scheme suggesting the furtive and scurryingn nature of roaches. Nice little lyrical piece , vivid word imagery conceived by sklful and careful choice of monosyllabic and dissyllabic words. I must read some more of you. Correct the typo , please................"prey" instead of "pray" Last edited by cousinsoren 10-19-2009 at 09:07:21 PM |
