officially missing you

when i spoke
and failed to hear
you respond,
i knew...

when i looked
and didnt see
you there,
i knew...

when i ran
and didnt hear
you near,
i knew...

when i cried
and shedded
a tear,
i knew...

time and time
and time flew...
pain through remorse
and sorrow flew....

meanwhile my heart,
soul and self knew
the causes of my pain
and sorrow was only
my soul missing you...

It was a very deep, emotional poem. I found the ways you expressed the person being there when you needed them, always. Very well written!!
