Fallen Idol

The Idol on high
doesn't want it
fans want more
the Idol doesn't need it
fans crave it
Risen !
To the top
fans gather behind the Idol
Push !
The Idol falls
fans applaud
the Idol expires
fans worship
sick and twisted reality
the Idol attains Immortality !

Is this Jj? This poem reminds me of the story of Jimi Hendrix, actually. I had to do research on his life for an essay I was writing. How do you like this new site? I recognized your name, I think...excellent write, as always
