UPA Forum Open Site ChallengeOk well here we go again. I have pondered over this and want to see how alive you can make something. Please breath into life an inanimated object. I want to know what it thinks what it smells what it sees, and most importain I want you to give it an independant voice. Beyond your. If you feel froggy jump into the challenge and lets see who gets the agreements in the end... Plot121.. |

Alone and ForgottenMy attempt at the new challenge for inanimate object. I tried to make it not so obvious what the object was throughout the poem. I struggled a bit with this, but really hope I achieved the desired effect. |

Copyright June 15th, 2009 A UPA Open Site Challenge Response by devaamido You should post this one on your site so it can be commented on and rated...I loved it, brought back many memories for me...not that any of my relatives were preachers, but my parents ARE a bit overly religious and were a source of great shame and embarrassment for me back in my teens, so I can definitely relate...If it were on your site I would give it a 10! Great poem. uspslady, UPA founding member |

Poetry is not the expression of personality but an escape from personality.
T. S. Eliot (1888-1965) American-English poet and playwright.
